External, self contained impairment generator for use with DSL line simulators. Provides narrow and broadband noise, crosstalk and transient impairments used for testing ADSL, SHDSL, HDSL, HDSL2 and ISDN. Controlled via IEEE 488 or RS-232 using the Standard Commands for Programmable Interfaces (SCPI) standard.
