Using NetScreen's GigaScreen ASIC, the NetScreen-500 is capable of up to 700 Mbps firewall throughput, 250 Mbps 3DES VPN throughput, and supports 10, 000 IPSec tunnels and up to 250, 000 concurrent sessions.
