The single-slot 40-channel demultiplexer C-band (40-DMX-C) or single-slot 40-channel demultiplexer C-band, even channels (40-DMX-CE) card demultiplexes 40 100-GHz-spaced channels identified in the channel plan, and sends them to dedicated output ports. The overall optical power can be adjusted using a single VOA that is common to all channels.
