Switch on to world of networking with the Cisco Catalyst 48-port networking switch. This switch allows you to connect all your computers to your servers and printers at up to 1 Gbps thanks to the 48 10/100/1000BASE-T ports. In addition, you can connect up to 740 W of devices directly to these ports courtesy of the Power over Ethernet standard. Use network security cameras and key cards to secure your building and register who's coming and going, and add networking throughout your business with wireless access points that are powered exclusively via Ethernet power/data cables.

This Cisco Catalyst 48-port networking switch also has four SFP uplinks so that you can connect to larger networks from your own or simply expand the size of your LAN by connecting to other switches and stacking them. Protect your network from security issues thanks to the variety of policy enforcement options, access control, and identity-based security policies. In addition, you can use a private VLAN to restrict traffic under circumstances, and use SSH, Kerberos and Simple Network Management Protocol version 3 to encrypt administrator traffic for additional security.
